Resuming a delivery after a crash

It is extremely rare to get MaxBulk Mailer crash during a delivery however such possibility has been taken into account thus it is now possible to restore all your delivery status through a few very simple steps.

Since MaxBulk Mailer v7 you can simply use the automatic crash recovery system. When relaunching the application after a crash you will get a warning window with very simple instructions in order to resume your delivery. You also get instructions when openning the crashed document.

With older MaxBulk Mailer versions you can use the Connection Log to find out which messages were delivered and which were not. Just open back your crashed MaxBulk Mailer document and drag and drop the Connection Log of that delivery to the recipient list. MaxBulk will then consolidate both and will mark delivered recipients as sent. Once done, just press the Send button again to resume the delivery where it left.

Note that this works only if you kept the 'Singly' option on the settings panel and the 'Output connection log to a file' on the Delivery panel both activated (default).

Connection logs are saved to:

- Mac OS X: ~/Library/Application Support/Maxprog/MaxBulk Mailer/Connection Logs/
- Windows: My Documents\Maxprog\MaxBulk Mailer\Connection Logs\

Note that on Mac OS X older versions those files may be located in the
'~/Documents/Maxprog/MaxBulk Mailer/' folder.

This is an extension of the batch processes.
