Importing your contact list

This topic shows you how to add recipients to MaxBulk from Entourage, Mac OS X Mail, Outlook, Now Contact, Netscape Mail, Claris Emailer and Eudora:

Entourage

From Address Book:
1.- Create a new Group inside your Address Book using 'New Group' button.
2.- Drag and drop recipients to export to this group.
3.- Close group and save it if you are asked.
4.- Drag and drop your group from Entourage to MaxBulk Mailer list.
Note: Skip step 1 to 3 if you already have a group.

or

1.- Select the recipients you need to export.
2.- Drag and drop them to your desktop or to a folder.
3.- Drag and drop resulting vcard files to MaxBulk Mailer list.

From Messages:
1.- Select the message(s) you need to get the addresses from.
2.- Drag and drop the selection from Entourage to MaxBulk Mailer list.

or

Use Applescript located in MaxBulk Mailer distribution folder
located at 'Examples/Applescript/Entourage mail import'

Mac OS X Mail

From Address Book: (Mac OS X Address Book)
1.- Select the entries you want to export.
2.- Drag and drop the selection from Address Book to MaxBulk Mailer list.

From Messages:
1.- Select the message(s) you need to get the addresses from.
2.- Save them to a file using "File" -> "Save As" menu.
3.- Drag and drop created file to MaxBulk Mailer list.

or

Use Applescript located in MaxBulk Mailer distribution folder
located at 'Examples/Applescript/Mac OS X Mail import'

Outlook

From Address Book:
1.- Select the entries you want to export.
2.- Drag and drop the selection from Outlook to MaxBulk Mailer list.

or

1.- Create a new Group inside your Address Book using 'New Group' button.
2.- Drag and drop recipients to export to this group.
3.- Close group and save it if you are asked.
4.- Drag and drop your group from Outlook to MaxBulk Mailer list.

From Messages:
1.- Select the message(s) you need to get the addresses from.
2.- Drag and drop the selection from Outlook to your desktop.
3.- Drag and drop created files from desktop to MaxBulk Mailer list.

Now Contact

1.- Select the entries you want to export.
2.- Drag and drop the selection from Now Contact to MaxBulk Mailer list.

Netscape Mail 4.x and higher

From Address Book:
1.- Select the entries you want to export.
2.- Drag and drop the selection from Netscape to MaxBulk Mailer list.

From Messages:
1.- Select the message(s) you need to get the addresses from.
2.- Save them to a file using "File" -> "Save As" -> "File..." menu.
3.- Drag and drop created file to MaxBulk Mailer list.

Netscape Mail 7.x and higher

From Address Book:
1.- Select the entries you want to export.
2.- Save them to a file using "Tools" -> "Export..."
3.- Select 'Tab Delimited format and save.
4.- Drag and drop created file to MaxBulk Mailer list.

From Messages:
1.- Select the message(s) you need to get the addresses from.
2.- Save them to a file using "File" -> "Save As" -> "File" menu.
3.- Drag and drop created file to MaxBulk Mailer list.

Claris Emailer

From Address Book:
1.- Select the entries you want to export.
2.- Drag and drop the selection from Emailer to MaxBulk Mailer list.

or

1.- Create a new Group inside your Address Book using 'New Group' button.
2.- Drag and drop recipients to export to this group.
3.- Close group and save it if you are asked.
4.- Drag and drop your group from Emailer to MaxBulk Mailer list.

Eudora

From Address Book:
1.- Open the Address Book.
2.- Select the 'File | Save As" menu and save.
3.- Open MaxBulk Mailer.
4.- Select the "File | Import Recipients | From a Text File" menu.
5.- Select the export file you created with Eudora.
6.- Select 'Comma' from the Field Delimiter pull-down menu.
7.- Line-up Eudora fields with Maxbulk's. At least:
first -> Firstname
last -> Lastname
email -> Email
8.- Press import.

1.- Select the entries you want to export.
2.- Drag and drop the selection from Eudora to MaxBulk Mailer list.

From Messages:
1.- Select the message(s) you need to get the addresses from.
2.- Drag and drop the selection from Eudora to your desktop.
3.- Drag and drop created files from desktop to MaxBulk Mailer list.
