Question: Hello!

I am about to restore my iCash file because I think it has become slow adding transactions.
Is this the way to go or should I try something else?

Answer: Try the 'File ▸ Tools ▸ Check Data' menu. That will reindex the file and check all the transactions. You will be alerted if any error is found.

If the problem persists try the same menu pressing the Control/Option key on your keyboard at the same time. You will get a confirmation window, click on the Ok button. That will also reindex the file but it will also recalculate all the account balances and clear all caches.


If the problem still persists then try to restore the file as explained here.
