Two days ago I purchasedMaxBulk Mailer via the Apple App Store - Now when I launch the software I am being asked for an activation code.

I believe you are not launching the right copy of MaxBulk Mailer. The software purchased at the Apple App Store doesn't need an activation code, only the versions you download from our site.
Note that the Apple App Store version is labeled 'MaxBulk Mailer SE'.
