Question: Hi Stan,
I recently saw the following message on Google's security page, when using my gmail account to send a bulk email.

Less secure apps & your Google Account
To help keep your account secure, starting May 30, 2022, ​​Google will no longer support the use of third-party apps or devices which ask you to sign in to your Google Account using only your username and password.

As I currently have to toggle the "Allow less secure apps" option to 'ON' in order for my bulk emails to work using my gmail address, what will happen after May 30th?

Is there something I can do to my current set up to resolve this issue?

Answer: Yes indeed but this is not an issue actually. You can still create an App password here and use it instead of your Google password. If that password gets compromised your Google account will be safe since it will use a different password.
