Question: Hello HelpDesk,

I recently got the error messages I’m including below. What can I do to get past this?

a.richards@amvyccix.net :
SMTP error from remote server for TEXT command, host: mx1c25.corrierzane.com (64.30.145.41) reason: 550 5.7.1 12OHJdv3013192 This message has been blocked for containing SPAM

tjohnston@astaounad.net :
SMTP error from remote server for TEXT command, host: mx.wavemail.com (208.27.184.20) reason: 554 5.7.1 [VI-1] Message blocked due to spam content in the message.

Your message very likely looks like spam and you are getting a false positive. The best would be to check the 'spamminess' of your e-mail using Mail Tester.

Indeed, this free service is literally for testing the 'spamminess' of your e-mails and avoid false positives. You just need to send your message to an e-mail address they will give you. A few seconds later you will get a score and a detailed report of what is ok and what is wrong. That simple! In addition, you get some directions to fix the problems. The best here is to try to get a score of 10/10.
