Question: When I try to send a message, the system fails and I get this note:
"An authentication error occurred while communicating with the server. Check your account setting and try again.
"The server has rejected your login because either your Account ID or Password is invalid or your account is inactive. See the server connection log for details."
I am not sure that I know what all of that means, but the Account ID that is used is "••••••••••••@comcast.net" The Password that I use is the one that works for that account in my regular email.
The Account, ••••••••••••@comcast.net, is an active account.
What am I to do?
Answer: I believe you should not use your full Comcast email address as the user ID but the name part only. It is better explained here: How to send bulk email with Comcast.
