Question: I have tried to down load a site in order to collect the images used. I add the url code and click on the arrow. Left it over night but get no result. I can not find any instructions on how to use the program and feel very confused at the moment!
Answer: Check the software preferences and make sure everything is set properly. You can even reset everything to defaults and try to download the site again. If it now works it means there is a problem with your settings. If it still not work make sure you are actually downloading the site with the right protocol, http or https.
Note that Web Dumper has limited Javascript support. That means some contents referred by code may not be seen nor downloaded by the software. In addition, some advanced sites may encode or hide contents in purpose. They can even detect the software activities and deny access to your IP for a few hours. In those rare cases you may have to pause and resume the downloading process a few times.
