Importing accounting data from Quicken

Topics

Question: I want financial software that does not store my data on a cloud or charge a recurring fee, which is what the latest version of Quicken for Mac insists on doing.

I have used Quicken for PC for many years and recently switched to Mac version. A most annoying piece of crapola. So I searched for an alternative and liked what i read about iCash.

BUT I MUST BE ABLE TO IMPORT DATA FROM QUICKEN.

So far, nothing I have tried has worked.

Thank you for your assistance.

Answer: Importing from Quicken is explained here.

iCash supports QIF imports. You have to export to QIF first from your previous accounting software into a single file or three separate files, Categories, Accounts and transactions. These files have to be imported to iCash in this same order.
