Question: Dear Maxprog

I have been using your software MaxBulk Mailer for many years with problems. But today I encountered an issue that I simply can't fix. I work on Mac OS 10.3.6 with the latest version of MaxBulk Mailer.

So we need to send out an email to thousands of people with a unique URL for each recipient. I have a spreadsheet with Firstname, E-mail Address, Link. I save it to csv in Excel. Then when I import it to MaxBulk it import everything fine, except that are no forward slashes in the URL. Everything is perfect, except that!

I have trying Tab delimited Text Semicolon CSV with all sort of formatting options (UTF-what-have-you.) I even saved the same file to CSV / Text on a Windows machine, but it made no difference. The slashes are missing.

How can I solve this?

Answer: First make sure that field data starts either with 'http://' or 'https://'. Then set the field/column format to 'Web Address'. You can do that selecting the 'Edit > Rename Tags' menu to make the change to the current document or from the Preference's Tags panel to affect all future documents. Just set the tag type to 'Web Address':
