Question: When trying to send mail, I get this: The server has rejected your message because you haven't authenticated yourself. You need to authenticate with your server in order to send emails. Go to the settings panel, select the EMTP or POP authentication and enter your account ID and Password. I did all of that and the program refuses to send email. I am using Google as the server.

Answer: The Gmail settings are explained here in detail: MaxBulk settings for Gmail. You have to read that page and follow its directions, especially make sure you have created a password for MaxBulk Mailer and you have deactivated the double security option.
