Question: I am a huge fan of your product. I used MaxBulk Mailer Pro at a previous job and I have now introduced it to my current company/job!

However, I am having a bit of difficulty at present. My IT colleagues are unable to determine the correct information to use on the "Settings" tab to enable me to send emails. No combination we can determine seems to work.

Our firm runs Office365. The mail program is Microsoft Outlook 2016.

Is there any guidance you can provide? What information do you need from me (or my colleagues who are better suited to using technical verbiage) to put me on the right path? Thank you for your help in advance!

Answer: Try the following steps:

1.– Create a shared mailbox in your Office 365 portal and assign a password.
2.– In MaxBulk Mailer assign smtp.office365.com as your SMTP server, port 587 with TLSv1 security.
3.– Use the shared mailbox email and password you just created on Office365.

- Setting the SMTP port is explained here.
- The SSL pull-down menu is located next to the authentication scheme. TLSv1 is one of the choices.
- Only MaxBulk Mailer Pro is able to connect thru SSL.
