Question: Hello,

I use BBEdit as my code editor but it’s not present in your list of editors.
Would it be possible to add it or make it so one can add a local editing app in the preferences?

Thank you for the suggestion — this is indeed a feature request, and it’s a very good one ????

At the moment, FTP Disk (current 1.5.4) does not support opening files directly in external editors such as BBEdit. The editor selection is limited to the built-in options provided by the application.

That said, the ability to define a custom / external editor (like BBEdit) makes a lot of sense, especially for developers who already have an established workflow. We agree this would be a valuable improvement.

???? I’ve added this request to our development roadmap so it can be evaluated for a future version of FTP Disk.
