iCash file size grew up over 120 Mb

Topics

Question: Dear Maxprog,

is that normal that iCash files, supposed to contain just text and/or numbers, grew up over 120 Mb?

Best regards.

Answer: iCash files are like virtual hard drives, as a result, an empty file is about 23Mb. iCash files not only contain your data but tables and indexes. Depending on how much data you have entered and the indexes that have been created the size can go to 100 Mb quite fast and stabilize. You can always rebuild you iCash document indexes. This can be done from the iCash File Manager and the 'Rebuild Index' menu:

The File manager also lets you Diagnose and Optimize your document.
