Question: I have been using MaxBulk Mailer for a couple of years, sending regular e-mails. Now a strange thing happens: I prepare the e-mail message and send it but it arrives to my clients truncated, pieces of text are missing, sometimes even attachments are missing. The problem sometimes occurs and sometimes not, no particular reason. I noticed that if I preview and reload, every time I press the reload button the text comes out in pieces, and every time I click on reload the text appears whole, or some pieces of text are missing. Sometimes the images are displayed and sometimes not. What can I do to fix this? Thank you.

Answer: I believe you are using the Styled Text format. That format is converted into HTML code before delivery. It is great since it allows almost everything HTML allows. You can even insert HTML code into your message, it will be passed to the final code untouched.

However there is one limitation, two characters are forbidden, they are '<' and '>'. Those two characters are reserved by HTML, they are used for creating tags. If you use either '<' or '>' you will literally screw all your HTML code and you will get unexpected results like truncated text or missing paragraphs.

Check your message text and make sure you are using neither '<' nor '>' anywhere and you will be fine!
