I want financial software that does not store my data on a cloud or charge a recurring fee, which is what the latest version of Quicken for Mac insists on doing. I have used Quicken for PC for many years and recently switched to Mac version. A most annoying piece of crapola. So I searched for an alternative and liked what i read about iCash. BUT I MUST BE ABLE TO IMPORT DATA FROM QUICKEN. So far, nothing I have tried has worked. Thank you for your assistance.

Importing from Quicken is explained here. iCash supports QIF imports. You have to export to QIF first from your previous accounting software into a single file or three separate files, Categories, Accounts and transactions. These files have to be imported to iCash in this same order.
