Question: I am having a problem that is making Email Verifier basically unusable. It continues to hang in the middle of lists. I currently have the following settings:

DNS: 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4
Threads: 50
Timeout: 10
Retries: 2

I've tried a number of different settings, but I am still having issues. I notice other people on the forum having the same problems. Do you have a fix?

Answer: Try to click on the 'Factory Settings' button, then enter your DNS servers again and set the thread number to 5.

Note that if the software stops in the middle it may be because of a running anti-virus software running in the background checking traffic on port 25 continuously. You could try to deactivate that anti-virus or at least the part that is checking port 25, the port used to send emails actually.
