Editing the Transaction Types list on Windows

Topics

Question: How do I edit the Transaction Type list on Windows? I've used it with a Mac, and it's very easy, you just press the Edit menu. But on Windows I'm not getting this anywhere. Thanks for your help.

Answer: The macOS and MS Windows versions of iCash share the same code, they offer the same features and work quite the same way. The operating systems are different though and sometimes they may work differently. That's the case of keyboard shortcuts. Indeed macOS shortcuts and MS Windows shortcuts use different key combinations.

In macOS you can edit the transaction type list by right-clicking on the transaction type pull-down menu right arrow. You will get an 'Edit' menu rather than the list of actual transaction types. That was what you were used to.

In Windows, to get that 'Edit' menu you have to press the SHIFT and CTRL keys and click on the transaction type pull-down menu right arrow. The windows you get is the same as usual.
