iCash verwendet beliebige Konten angefangen von Bankkonten bis zu Ausgabekonten und erlaubt Ihnen jederzeit individuelle Salden zu betrachten, angepasste Berichte zu erstellen und jede einzelne Geldangelegenheit zu verfolgen. Alle Konten werden zu Kategorien und Typen zusammengefasst.
Kategorien können beliebig verwaltet werden und sind in Typen eingeteilt. Typen sind die oberste Kontenklassifikation. Ein Konto kann nur einer einzigen Kategorie angehören und eine Kategorie nur einem einzigen Typ. Typen können nicht verwaltet werden. Verfügbare Typen sind: Banken, Einkommen, Ausgaben, Schulden, Portfolio, Vermögen und Startkapital. Sie alle sind durch ein farbiges Symbol auf dem Bildschirm und ein graues Symbol auf den Ausdrucken eindeutig gekennzeichnet:
