thanks for your help -- but i an still not there.
When I followed the link I couldn't work out which file i should download. I tried VC_redist.x86.exe and altho it appeared in the wine list of processes, it didnt output anything on the screen, so i dont know whether it installed anything, and icash still failed.
And when I searched the microsoft site for the universal runtime i got a zip file with various versions. Again i dont know which one i should choose. my computer is an acer aspire e 15 64bits
In WIne I can specify which windows version wine emulates, I have tried icashsetup.exe with windows xp and windows 8 but both give me the framework error.
Could you advise further ?
