Not really spam, but evidently some email servers/systems including our local city government and hotmail have implemented some sort of link checking which results in the statistics showing that the recipient clicked on every link in the email! This doesn't affect the Opening stats, but the Clicks are out of control. I suppose this is some type of process or robot. Could there be a way to detect this and not count those clicks?

Not sure, but I would need to see the full request HTTP data and see if it can be taken apart from the real ones. I am sure there are differences.
