Redirecting when trying to upload a list & now blank page

So I finally got MLM installed and accessed correctly and I thought my problems were over, until....

I tried to upload a new list via Maxbulk Mailer and started getting 500 server errors for the link in preferences. From what I could glean off the forum it appeared this was a "permissions" issue with what I thought was the lm folder, so I went through Cyberduck and changed it to 777... which didn't work. Then I got on tech support chat with my web hosting company and they told me the link in preferences was somehow being redirected? Now all I get is a blank page when I access the link in preferences...

I tried reinstalling but am getting the same thing, blank page. When I go into Statistics and click a delivery that worked earlier, I get a Error #500 Internal Server Error...

No idea what could be going on but any help would be enormously appreciated!!!

Re: Redirecting when trying to upload a list & now blank pag

Well I tried resetting the 'lm' folder to 775 and after repeated attempts per the instructions had to delete the lm folder and reinstall.

It works, but when I diagnose it appears the permissions for uploading are still set at 777:

mailqueue permissions = 0755
sqlqueue permissions = 0755
uploads permissions = 0777
imports permissions = 0755
templates permissions = 0755

Not sure if this is the issue that is causing me to get an email titled "[MLM] Error creating the tbl_mlm_sub_req table in CreateSubscribtionRequestTable()" but I'm unable to upload a list from Maxbulk. Her is the error message I get:

An error occurred during the list upload process

HTTP/1.1 200 OK¬
Server: nginx/1.12.1¬
Date: Fri, 13 Oct 2017 12:03:08 GMT¬
Content-Type: text/html¬
Content-Length: 32¬
Connection: keep-alive¬
Vary: Accept-Encoding¬
Content-Encoding: gzip¬
¬
ÔøΩÔøΩÔøΩ47ÔøΩÔøΩÔøΩÔøΩ:ÔøΩ

Any help would be greatly appreciated@ :)

Try to run the MLM diagnostic. You can do that from the MaxBulk Mailer preferences, second panel, a menu with a cog icon, it is the 'Diagnose' menu.

Okay, I ran it and it gave me this (asterisks are mine):

MLM 3.1.7 diagnose ran on 2017-10-17 at 07:36:15

request_uri = http://www.holmesworld*************.php ... **********
path_to_script = http://www.holmesworld*************
working_directory = /home3/*********/*********

mailqueue permissions = 0755
sqlqueue permissions = 0755
uploads permissions = 0777
imports permissions = 0755
templates permissions = 0755

#1 mysqli_connect( localhost, holmeswo******, **********, holmeswo****** )
-> Connection OK!

#2 mysql_select_db( holmeswo_MLM )
-> Database selection OK!

#3 mysqli_query( $mysql_link, $query )
-> Query OK!

#4 mysqli_query( $mysql_link, $query )
-> Query OK!

#5 mysqli_query( $mysql_link, $query )
-> Query OK!

#6 3 list(s), 0 recipient(s), deliveries
-> No error found.

Lists (List Name | Total Recipients | Modification Date):
-1

THEN, I get an email with the subject: "[MLM] Error creating the tbl_mlm_sub_req table in CreateSubscribtionRequestTable()"

but the email only has a colon symbol in the body.

Any idea what's going on?

Ok, all seems ok, maybe it is a database access permission problems. Are you able to add entries, I mean have you tried for example to upload a list with MaxBulk Mailer?

When I uploaded a list from Maxbulk Mailer/MLM, this is what I got:

"An error occurred during the upload process:

HTTP/1.1 200 OK¬
Server: nginx/1.12.1¬
Date: Fri, 20 Oct 2017 12:43:11 GMT¬

From what I am able to tell the list uploads okay. There is no count of contacts to the right of the list name however, and I am still getting "An error occurred during the list upload process" along with the MLM email heading "[MLM] Error creating the tel_mlm_sub_req table in CreateSubscriptionRequestTable()"

Re: Redirecting when trying to upload a list & now blank pag

Your server doesn't tell MaxBulk Mailer is the list was uploaded or not, reason why MaxBulk Mailer prefers to display an error.

About the list recipient count, would you mind to send a screenshot?

About your last problem, try the following command:

lm.php?cmd=init&pwd=YOUR_MLM_PASSWORD

This command allows the administrator (you) to create, if they don't exist, the mySQL database and the list table following the mlm settings file.

Screenshot of the lists I have without their relative counts is attached.

I'm not sure where the command you mentioned should be entered?

OK, just confirm, the MLM web interface shows (0) for all lists despite those lists contains entries? And what about MaxBulk Mailer, do you see the number of recipients there?

Re: Redirecting when trying to upload a list & now blank pag

I've attached a screenshot...I only see the recipient number if I click on a particular remote list, but wasn't sure if the number was also supposed to show up to the right of the particular list regardless...

I also am still getting the [MLM] email with the error message when I select the Remote List dropdown...additionally it seems to take an inadvertently long time to get the lists to show up...probably in the neighborhood of 25-40 seconds...

Yes, you should see the list size in recipients on the right. IT looks like your server is not sending responses to MaxBulk Mailer requests properly. What server is it?

Any idea what this issue is related to? Never heard back from you...

I guess your server is not sending the data it is asked for else you would see everything, if you send me the exact URL I can check the response here.
