Web Dumper hangs when opening prefs

Using Mac OS 10.9.4 and Web Dumper 3.3.6, the app hangs whenever I try to access the prefs. I've tried deleting the prefs and new prefs are created, but the problem persists. I have also been able to manually edit the prefs file and the changes are read, but still, when using the menu item Preferences or the icon for Preferences, the app immediately hangs and I need to force quit and re-start. Ideas?

It becomes completely unresponsive. The mouse is unable to activate any controls on the app window and keyboard commands do not work. It becomes necessary to force-quit and re-start.
