HI,
I am not sure what you are doing or how Max saves each message however this is what I do to make sure I have a copy of each message.
1. Create each message in another program.
for example I use Dreamweaver but anything can be used even a text editor or email program if you are using text.
2. Name the file the name of the mailing with the date mymail271008-1. If I have more than one mailing of it, I add the number 1 etc as you can see.
3. Once this is done then I highlite and hit the copy option of the file
4. Open the list in Max, go to the Message tab, put the cursor in the left top of the message area and hit Paste. Your file should be there.
5. Hit the Preview tab to check it is what you want.
6. Change the type of message format to whatever it is.
7. Tick or leave open the 'Return' option.
8. Make sure you have the Subject line filled in.
I also start my Subject with [NEWS] and end it with the file name [mymail-271008-1]. That way it is all traceable.
9. Check your recipient list is raedy to go
10. Go to deliveries and check the number of files to be sent in the top right side panel.
11. Hit Send.
Anyway good luck.
