Update of MLM

Hi Stan,
The release notes for MaxBulk Mailer 7.7 say that there is an update for MLM. What do I have to do to install this update?

If you installed MLM the first time with MaxBulk Mailer built-in installer and you did not edit the lm_settings.php file manually then you can simply run that same installer again. If it is not the case just upload the lm.php and the lm_functions.php files with a FTP application.

Hi Stan,

thank you for your quick reply. As you said I replaced lm_functions.php and lm.php via FTP on our server. Now I get error messages:

What's wrong?

Hi Stan,

sorry to bother you again.

Re-entering the URL in the preferences doesn't change anything.
I have set the permissions for both files to "771". Is that right?

Edit: I tried to set the permissions to "775", but no change in behaviour.

Yes, MaxBulk Mailer v7.6 comes with MLM v2.2.2 and MaxBulk Mailer v7.7 comes with MLM v2.2.3. There are very few differences. replacing the lm.php and lm_functions.php files is enough to upgrade between the two versions.
