Unsubscriprion tag problem.

Hi guys,
I purchased Max Bulk mailer from APP Store in OSX 10.6.
In the info I can read Max Bulk Mailer SE and lower "Pro-Registrato" (Pro-Registered)
I think my max bulk mailer version is "PRO".
Now, I've this problem.
I don't understand how to use tags.
I create my newsletter with dreamweaver. I copy / paste the HTML code in Max bulk mailer.
I want to insert the recipient's name at the beginning of my newsletter and the unsubscribe link at the end of my newsletter.
If I use Max bulk mailer's tags to insert this options, I don't see anything in my newsletter I see only the graphic and code created with dreamweaver.
I'm italian and I've some troubles to explain my situation in english, so the following lines resumes my situation:
- Max Bulk Mailer SE - Pro - Registered (From APP Store);
- Website hosted by aruba;
- I don't have MySQL database yet,
- I tried tags available in all max bulk mailer's version (Short date) and doesn't works.
Can you explain me how to make this tags works?

In the settings panel, is the 'Singly' option checked? It is a checkbox next to 'Delivery'.
Did you install MLM? The unsubscribe tag only works with MLM.

This evening, when I arrive at home I check if 'Singly' option is selected.
I installed MLM whit automatic Max Bulk Mailer wizard, but I don't know if MLM needs a MySQL database installed in my webspace or if it create an own database...
If MLM needs a previous installed MySQL database, this can be the first problem.
I use this reply to ask one more thing that I forgot yesterday.
If I buy the MySQL provided by aruba for 7,00 € + IVA per year can I have problem with MLM or it works without problems?

MLM creates the mySQL database tables automatically as long as the mySQL settings you have entered in the lm_settings.php file are correct. You need a full access mySQL account. I guess Aruba server should work but to be honest I never heard about them. If they offer standard mySQL account with full access it will work flawlessly.

I checked all settings and they are rights.
Now I think the only problem is that I've to buy MySQL support from aruba.
I try this solution in the next days.

- if I copy in MBM the HTML copy of my newsletter, I can add tags simply in this way: (e.a.) Ciao, [Nome] (by pressing the corresponding tags in the pull down menu)?
- Have I to manully correct lm_settings.php or it configures itself automatically when I insert the information in the wizard "install MLM"?

Excuse me for my excessive requests, but I'm a graphic designer, I work on paper and these are my first steps on web.
Usually I find solutions by myself but this is an argument where I'm totally a newbie and the difficulty is harder for me 'cause of my limited knowledge of english.
Unfortunately the support in italian is not very complete.

Yes, you can also write them by hand. They are just pieces of text that MaxBulk Mailer will replace with your list data at delivery time.

The Wizard install do all that for you.

Yes, you can also write them by hand. They are just pieces of text that MaxBulk Mailer will replace with your list data at delivery time.

The Wizard install do all that for you.

Ok, thank you...In the next days I'll buy mySQL support and I'll try to solve my problems. I hope I don't need to disturb you again...

I bought MySQL support but MBM doesn't works. I don't undestand where is the problem.
I tried to reinstall MLM and after 3 or 4 minutes I receive an error.

In MBM mail preview I only see -- My HTML Code -- and I can't see the first textual part (Ciao [Nome] [Cognome]) and the very very important link to unsubscribe the newsletter ([Disattiva Abbonamento]).
Can someone help me with this trouble?

Try to install MLM manually, it is explained here below 'Installation Errors – How to install MLM manually'.
