Text typing is veeeeeery sloooow

I have just upgraded to 5.0.3 and now when I compose messages the text typing is very slow to respond... any suggestions?

Check if you have duplicate or damaged fonts on your system. I think it is the only reason an application can behave that way.

I had same problem when copy past text in the program.
Just right button click and "Convert in text format".
It should work.
