I manage email marketing for a company. Is there code that I can give them to embed in a web page and put on their website to allow a new subscriber to subscribe to their email list that I host?

I assume it is the subscribe_single_fixed script. Where in that do I make the association to my specific list? I assume in the path statement in the beginning I change that line to actual path of lm.php on my server?

Use subscribe_auto_single.php and your list will be used automatically.

I need to post the form on a client's website, but the mailing list will reside with my web hosting. I have multiple list, but I do not want the person signing up to see the multiple lists. When they sign up they should automatically be added/deleted from the pre-determined list.

Where in the code do I specify the pre-determined list name, and what is the path to the programs since it is not local to the website where the sign-up form is located?

Try to call the page this way:
subscribe_single_fixed?list=YOUR_LIST_NAME
