Strange behaviour: MaxBulk doesn't warn before closing doc.

On my machine (MBP, OS 10.5.4) MaxBulk Mailer shows a strange behaviour:
I create a new file, put in text and everything. When I now close the document by pushing the red button, MaxBulk doesn't warn me, that the document has not been saved. The document closes and everything is lost.

All other machines in our office behave normal, and I have already reinstalled MaxBulk Mailer, but nothing has changed.

Do you have any idea?

Deleting the "Preferences" file fixed the problem.
