Spell Checker Stopped Working

I'm using a Mac with 10.10.5 OS and Max Mailer Pro 8.5

The spell check option is now Grey and i cannot run the spell checking on any of my newsletters.

any advice?

Use current MaxBulk Mailer 8.5.1 which uses the Mac OS spell-checker.

until then i will just mail with mistakes and look like an idiot...

Version 8.5 comes with a custom Spell-checker that is embedded into the application. It is weird it has stopped working but you can control it thru the 'Edit' menu, there are several spell-checker options there.

I want to turn the spellchecker off - but as in other post the option is greyed out. The red lines underlining supposed errors (ie most of the html code) are very annoying! Wish I'd stayed with the previous version.

With 8.5.1, right click anywhere in the message field and uncheck the 'Spelling and Grammar > Check spelling while typing' menu.
