Hi,

I just wanted to upgrade to the latest version of icash 5.5.

During the setup run I receive the following error:

Unable to upgrade: Internal error: Failed to expand shell folder constant "userdocs"

after clicking ok:

Setup coulkd not be finished - fix this error and try again...

Never ever had a problem with upgrading...

My OS: Windows Vista 64 bit ultimate / multilingual German/English

This is R/W problem.

Set the folder "my documents" to its default values.
Right click on the "my documents" folder in explorer or the desktop > select properties from the menu that appears > Select the option for returning the position to its default value.
C:\Documents and settings > All Users Documents > under properties you will see attributes and the settings for "read only"

Setting back the default value for "My documents" is just a workaround, which usually fixes the default read/write rights for the "My Documents" folder.

Hi Stanbusk,

thanks for your replay...

Well "my documents" is an network folder where I do not have acces to change a permission..

C:\Documents and settings > All Users Documents > I do not have the right to change anything..

I'm a icash user for a long time... but this behavoir is quite strange... Any other idea to solve this issue?

[Solved] Disable User Account Control in Windows Vista

Hi,

issue is solved.

After reading all the web about this problem, my administrator disabled User Account Control in Windows Vista.

After a reboot the installation worked fine...

Strange - I never had to do this before... Thanks for your help...
