Since I upgraded to 7.7, mailings are being bounced as spam

Hello

I sent out a mailing about my blog to a list I have used many times, of people who have opted in to receive mailings, combined with my own clients, and industry prospects.

For the first time, I have had a huge number of bounce backs, all saying something similar to this - 554 RBL rejection:
http://www.spamhaus.org/SBL/sbl.lasso?query=SBL91164

I have been to the website quoted, but still don't really understand what I need to do to stop my e-mails being rejected. It says something about SMTP authentication, but I can't find any reference to how to do this on Maxbulk Mailer.

Can anyone give me any advice?

Usually you get listed at spamhaus because of recipient complaints, a server complaint or a ISP complaint. You can be listed because you sent spam, you sent a message that was seen as spam, other sender using the same server as you has sent spam...etc... I have seen whole servers being listed affecting lots of people. You can find all the information about your specific case here: http://www.spamhaus.org/SBL/sbl.lasso?query=SBL91164

Thanks Stan - I don't understand - the IP address is not mine, and I am nothing to do with this spammer.

When I put my IP address into Spamhaus it takes me to a different page:

http://www.spamhaus.org/pbl/query/PBL168537

which then takes you here:

http://www.spamhaus.org/pbl/removal/

and I don't understand what it is saying about removing the IP address from their list by arranging smtp authentication. I was hoping that it would make sense to you!

Have you contacted the support of your email server? Perhaps they have information. Perhaps someone used their servers to send spam.
