Are you sure your settings are the right ones? It looks like the server is not listening on any of the SMTP ports.

I am so not sure of my settings. I mean, I am sure about the login and password but am guessing about the rest. I was hoping that a knowledgable person could tell from the log what's wrong. I'd like to send from the yahoo account. I did successfully send from a gmail account. Does yahoo not support maxprog?

I have not purchased it yet (expecting new computer on Monday and will install on that).

Have you tried to set the security to TLSv1?

No joy. I'll just use the gmail account.

On another matter, do you know if, when I buy, I'll be allowed to purchase Pro version 8.4.6 rather than the newest version?

Yes, all v8 versions use there same serial.
