Settings for Media Temple server

I've recently switched from GoDaddy to Media Temple as my server. No matter what settings I try, I get the message "The Server doesn't respond. Please check your network connection and verify that your settings are correct." My network connections are fine - I just can't seem to find the proper settings for Media Temple.

Any suggestions? Thank you!

The same info is valid for all email clients, you need the server address, the type of authentication, your user id and your password.

Thank you so much for your reply. The info I have used (server address, authentication type, user id and password), have worked successfully in the past with MaxBulk Mailer with GoDaddy and 1and1. For some reason, my info (with the updated server address and authentication type) is not working with my Media Temple server.

I've double checked everything, but am very willing to admit I'm overlooking something. I only have one new server address (confirmed), but I've tried each and every authentication type, with no success each time. What on earth am I overlooking?

Your connection log shows that no server is responding on given address and port. Are you sure the server address and port are correct?

Great question. I've quadruple checked both (really), and can't find where my mistake is.

I have asked my server about this (they have started their own support ticket with MaxProg). My server assures me that I'm using the correct server link. Forgive me, but I don't know what TLSv1 is, or how to activate it.
