Settings for an MS Exchange 2010 account

Just purchased MBM Pro, and spent the past 2 days trying to get it to work with my in-house MS Exchange 2010, to no avail.

I'm trying to use a POP3 account, which works perfectly with Apple Mail, using NTLM as the authentication method. I understand NTLM isn't supported in MBM, but couldn't find a method that would work.

I've seen here:
http://www.maxprog.com/forum/viewtopic. ... 286#p19286

a recommendation to change the authentication scheme on the exchange server to either PLAIN, LOGIN or MD5. But none of the above options are present at the configuration screen on the Exchange Management Console. These are the 3 options I have:

And here is a somewhat enigmatic explanation on technet about these 3 options:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/libr ... 97188.aspx

Can anyone explain which of the MBM options correspond to the above configurations?

How should I set up MBM to work with my Exchange Server, and/or how should I configure my Exchange Server to work with MBM?

Thanks!

I have never set an Exchange server but I can confirm NTLM is no supported by MaxBulk Mailer. NTLM is a Microsoft proprietary and almost undocumented authentication protocol. Only Microsoft software supports that authentication protocol. MaxBulk Mailer only supports standard authentication protocols, PLAIN, LOGIN and MD5. As far as I know you can set Exchange to support those protocols as well. And by the way, the account to use is not POP3 but SMTP.
