Scheduled Transactions

If I set up a new scheduled transaction e.g. monthly electricity payments by direct debit, all appears OK. If I then double click or edit the scheduled entry the start date stays as should but the next date is advanced a month even though the first date hasn't yet been reached. The 1st entry has not been posted. What am I doing wrong?

The next date use to be one month later if you are above the day of the start date. I guess it is what you see.
