SBOD - Spinning Beachball of Death

I uploaded a list of 7700 emails into Recipients.
I then dragged a file named DELETE to the Recipients window and some emails were deleted as expected.
I then dragged another file named DELETE (containing different emails) to the Recipients window and SBOD.
Why is this happening?
How do I prevent it? Without closing Mailer?

Is the Delete file a plain text fie? How many addresses do you have in that file?

Plain text file.
Each line is a separate email address. Nothing else.
5K names.

What is the encoding of the file. MaxBulk Mailer doesn't support UTF-16.

I will tell you that if I wait 20 minutes between the 2 DELETE files, each works just fine.

Given the size of your file and the size of the DELETE file, MaxBulk Mailer will perform 38'500'000 operations on the list. However MaxBulk Mailer should update the progress bar regularly. It does in my tests here. Did you try to reboot your computer?

I did not reboot.
I never do that as a solution as I no longer run Windows.

Do you think rebooting is just for Windows computer?
