Repeated crashing of sends

Lately I have been having a problem with my sends. I only use the program twice a year so I cannot say when it started happening. I have the program to send out 50 emails at a time. My list is 650. After ten items I get a beep sound. a message pops up and then a second message (both too fast to read). Then the program shuts down. Once I saw this message: The selected authentication scheme is not supported by your server. Go to the settings panel to change it and try again. I haveESMTP selected and have forever. The message also tells me the supported list of authorizations are: Login, Plain, XYMCookie. This is very frustrating and incredibly long process. What do I need to do to correct the matter?

Yes the program crashes at approximately every 9 names. Yes, I have rebooted. I am still sending my file to 647 names. I started at around 2PM yesterday. This is torture and I don’t know where to pinpoint the problem. I have, as I said previously, done this successfully many times before. Is there some reason to believe that PacBell (or its present incarnation) is able to throttle the sending? I only say that because I know of nothing on my side that has changed.

I am using a Mac - MacBook Pro 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7 OS X 10.6.8

MaxBulk Mailer Ver. 8.3.3

I finally finished send the mailing at 2 AM this AM. I was never able to see any error messages as they flashed by too quickly. All day yesterday I could only get at the most 15 at a time to go through. All last night it hovered at 3 - 6 items before the crash. I re-booted many times and had nothing else running in the background. Hope this helps.

IN the delivery panel you should see the errors in plain text, they are preceded with a 5xx code. Can you tell me what errors are they?

The last two I sent. But, this is all that was logged. The other log list in history does not seem to have any data that is relevant. Since I do my mailings so infrequently and it has become so tortuous that I am flummoxed in knowing how to test for this problem.

The line 'to a total of: 2 recipient(s) [2/645]' means only 2 recipients were selected for delivery out of 645 and both were sent without errors. If you want me to fix something you have to send a log with errors.

That is the only log available. There is no "history" of logs that I can find. So I can only assume I will have to await my next mailing. By the way, even when I had the errors the logs did not seem to show anything that said error. Due to the crash of the program?? The messages, when the program is shutting down(crashing), are so quick as to be useless. Only once did I get a message that stayed on screen long enough to read. It said: Resources temporarily unavailable. Please try again. This is why I am so frustrated. The only log history I have only shows success and there is no history available other than that. Frustrating.

You can access absolutely all the connection logs from the delivery panel. Click on the disclosure triangle on that panel to reveal the list. My support is based on facts, computing is an exact science. I you have a problem I need to understand it or I need data. Reporting a problem is explained here.

Interesting every time I clicked on the log I always got the same info. In Light of that I will send you what I have maybe I simply don't understand. Which is highly probable. What I am after is the answer so the problem can be solved.
Part of the problem I was not aware of the Triangle.

I arbitrarily went to an entry on the list and I thought I had copied everything. If I did not I am sorry. Most of the items, and there are many on the list, have no header info - they are all blank. The one I am pasting now has some header info and seems to have a beginning and an end. If not, please tell me of a way to export the entire list and I can send it to you. Obviously you are better versed than I am about how to do this. I am only trying to help you solve my problem but am stymied by my lack of knowledge. :(

What I see is a 'Remote server has unexpectedly closed the connection (#102). Stage: 3' error.

Note that you are sending 2.7 Mb of attachments to 647 recipients. That is 647 x 2,7 = 1747 Mb, that is 1.7 Gb!!!!!!!! This is far too much! I recommend you to read the following page.

It depends, what format are you using for you message? and what kind of attachments are they? Any picture you want to be displayed directly on the message?
