removing / changing copyright

Hi - I don't see a copy of my license in the download - is it ok to change / remove the following.....

$script_name = "Maxprog List Manager";
$script_version = "v3.0";
$copyright = "Copyright (c) 2008 - 2010";

I need an unbranded copy.
