What error do you get in the connection log for those addresses?

For each wrong address the server replies this:
550 5.1.1 Adresse d au moins un destinataire invalide. Invalid recipient. OFR_416 [416]

And if there are 10 wrong addresses in a row, it closes connection with this message:
Too many successive errors (>10), giving up!

Have you considered to check you list with eMail Verifier first?

By the way, what server are you using?

Yes, I am cleaning up my list. But some wrong addresses are unavoidable and I will have to find another, more flexible server (unless you implement a mechanism to automatically unsubscribe the rejected addresses).

My current server is smtp-msa.orange.fr
