Recipients activated vs. number of entries in delivery stats

Hi, I am confused about the recipients in the distribution list and the number of entries in the delivery statistics. The number of recipients I am sending my email to doesn't match the number in the statistics tab. I only see about 33%-50% of the recipients in activated recipient list within the statistics report. Is there something I am missing here? I know the "clicking" means they actually clicked on a link within the email and "opening" means it is in their inbox but what happens to the other recipients? Thanks

Do you mean you get a 33%-50% opening rate?

I'm not sure. My active lists consists of 660 entries that I sent an email to. When I check the statistics, I get 204 entries (split between "clicked" and "opening"). I'm trying to figure out what is the status of the 456? Thanks

I believe they were not seen by the recipient or the recipient has picture displaying deactivated. Note that when your message ends in the recipient junk box, the opening will not be tracked even if the recipient actually read the message. This is because pictures are not displayed either. If the recipient click on the button to display picture, the opening is tracked.
