The error you get is sent by your server. MaxBulk Mailer just displays it to you. The number of emails you can send thru a server with a delivery limit is for all the emails sent thru your account, not only MaxBulk Mailer. If your server sends a delivery limit reached error after 480 it is because you sent the other 20 thru another software, maybe your mail reader, your mobile phone? If MaxBulk Mailer is the very only software using the account then you should get the 500. Note that delivery reports are also sent emails not included in the delivery.
You don't have to use the software 24 hours, you can send faster as long as you don't reach the server 24h limit. You have to set the group and the delay in order to send the messages you need in that time.
