problems importing contacts from address book

Help! I'm trying to import recipients from my address book. Whichever way I do it, Max Bulkmailer imports only their email-addresses and NOT their names or surnames. This is highly annoying! What can I do?!?

I'm using the bulkmailer v. 8 on a macbook pro 10.5.8

Have you tried to drag and drop Address Book entries directly to the MaxBulk Mailer list?
