Problem with comments

With the upgrade, we can now enter additional characters to the comment without suffering the "right crop" problem.

However, there is still a problem if I wish to remove characters.
e.g. dinner with mum and dad -> if I want to remove "mum and", then the word "dad" will be cropped.

Can't someone please look into it?

How do you delete the text?

I'm using a Macbook, so there is only one [delete] button (which is backspace).

Does it mean that PC users don't have this problem?

I mean,

#1 Do you place the cursor after the text and press the delete key as many times as characters?

or

#2 Do you select the text and press the delete key once?

I tried both methods and both cropped the text after my cursor.
