Probelm Excel .xls import

Hi I'm in the process of testing the various components of managing Email lists and addresses.

I've hit a consistent but strange error.

If I import an Excel .xls file it will import 3 addressees and stop, I've tried this with 3 files all with the same result. The import progress bar your to about 85% then stops.

I can press start and it will indeed check the 3 addresses showing.

Any ideas or help would be useful

You have to save your XLS file to a tab delimited TXT file first. Then you will be able to load the full list.

RTFM, i guess.

Sorry I should have checked. But I thought as it showed a few addresses and then the progress bar stalled, that Excel files were valid, but for some reason there was a prob with my files.

Perhaps the developers should do a check for the incoming filename and pop-up an alert warning that it should be saved as a Tab-Delimited .txt file.

Actually XLS is a binary file. eMail Verifier only accepts plain text files.
