Preview Pane duplicating message OR signature

Good dsy,

I have just begun experimenting with MBM and I'm seeing some rather strange behavior.

In order to test the software I pasted 2 paragraphs of formatted text (Bold, Underlined, etc) into the MESSAGE box, inserted a couple of tags and then created a signature in the SIGNATURE box.

I selected Styled Text as the format, added one of my other email addresses as a recipient, input my smtp server settings. When I go to preview I sometime see the Message contents listed twice with no signature, sometimes I see the Signature listed twice with no message, and I sometimes see everything listed properly. When I SEND the message it appears to copy the latest PREVIEW.

Do you have any idea of what may be going on and how to fix it?

PS. I'm running a Windows 7 Based PC and version 8.3.8-US of the software.

To say the true I have never heard of such behavior. Where did you paste the text from?

The message was pasted from another email.

I will try a different source for the content and see if it makes any difference.

The new install seems to have fixed the problem, I'll let you know if it shows up again.

Next question:
Is it possible to utilize formatting tools in the SIGNATURE field? Can I paste pictures (logos, etc) into the field?

The problem came back as soon as I pasted a small .jpg file into the MESSAGE field.

The signature field is only for plain text actually. For styled text it is better to add the signature to the message itself.

About your problem, I have no idea, MaxBulk Mailer uses the standard system textfield and there is no code to modify what you add.
