Please Advice: Error - mySQL is not activated.

Have installed MLM manually, because Maxbulk Mailer does an automatic install of version 1, and I need the last version to be sure it works properly.

I have followed these 5 steps - but with step 6 the error appears.

1.- Open the lm/lm_settings.php file with a text editor.
2.- Edit the script settings and save.
3.- Upload the 'lm' folder to your FTP server (in your public folder).
4.- Use your FTP software to CHMOD the 'lm' folder to 777 (or 775, 755 or 705).
5.- Enter the 'lm.php' full URL and your user ID and password to MaxBulk preferences.
6.- If you have selected to use mySQL run the script with the 'Init' command:
http://<script_path_here>/lm.php?cmd=init&pwd=password

What can I do possibly do wrong then?

And what can I do to correct this?

After hours and hours and hours, it would be finally nice to use the software.

Have you checked your mySQL settings in the lm_settings.php file? Is the mySQL server address correct? And your credentials? The database name?
