old iCash-files crashes

Hi all,

trying to open an old iCash-file (from 2006) the program every time crashes and is terminated. The same occurs, if I try to repair the file with the Tools.

iCash 5.4.2-DE
iBook G4 - Mac OS 10.4.11

Any idea, folks?

I guess you file is damages in some way. iCash creates auto-backups all the time. Have you tried to use one of them? It is explained here.

Thank you Stan, the workaround with the "XML dump file-Tool" works fine and rebuilt the datafile!
