neither dredge from thunderbird nor import from remote works

Use the Dredge button or the 'File | Dredge' menu to process local files, local mailboxes or the clipboard. In order to process remote mailboxes go to the settings panel, enter you server settings and press the Start button.

Doesn't work on the Mac I use with Thunderbird. Who uses still entourage? or powermail?
Can you please tell me, how I can process Thunderbird mailboxes?

Also the remote processing doesn't work. All data ( Host, imap, account ID, password, mailbox) entered correctly but the programme is unable to select the correct mailbox.

the protocoll says:

Our software is autonomous, it has no relation with Thunderbird. It works directly with your server. If you look at the log you will see the following error:

sorry but your answer is rather useless to me. you are only confirming that I see an error.
How can I syncronize the bounce e-mail box with the e-mail list on my server?????

eMail Bounce Handler is a tool to download and process bounces from a POP or IMAP server. What do you mean with 'syncronize'?

oh man!... I described the problem already. Just tell me please how I can extract the bounced e-mail adresses out of an IMAP mailbox ... to get a list of "dead" e-mails, which I later can then export it in order to clean my original list.
This is normally called "syncronisation" . But this word is not important. I have the problem described; it doesn't work with the instruction out of your manual, and all what you do is, telling me, the bounce handler is not working with Thunderbird but working indepently. But how??
When you say the software can extract the bounced adresses from an Imap mailbox the pleeeeeaaaaase tell me now: HOW???

Open eMail Bounce Handler, go to the settings panel and input your server data, IMAP or POP. POP is recommended. I personally talk about fetching bounces. Please can you tell me what you don't understand? What are you expecting? NOte that I am the developer of the software.

What needed to be said, has been said. You might be the developper, but your clients are not working in the SD business. Try to understand your clients language. I for my part give up now.

you might not have asked for it, but that is FACT. I follow strictly your instruction and the result is a CRASH.
I would say, let's stop this discussion now. I will not use the programm any more and you don't have to answer any more. I will stick now only to the bulkmailer.
You may contact me again, when you have a stable version bounce handler. Up to this moment, I do it by hand...

Hum... eMail Bounce Handler is stable, crashes use to come from corrupt preferences or corrupt memory, the chunk of memory used by the software. Rebooting the computer should remove the problem.
