MX Record Problem - Please Help!

Hi Stan,

I have been using MBM for several years now...

Lately, I have been having problems with MBM and some MX records. I used to be able to mail our list of 8,000 email in about 40 mins. Now I am receiving several MX look-up problems...on average 2 per 1,000 emails.

Here is the log entry...

[01] 6/24 10:58:19 511 sorry, can't find a valid MX for rcpt domain (#5.1.1 - chkuser)

[01] 6/24 11:02:19 ~ Status: Connected
[01] 6/24 11:02:19 220 mail12.XXX.net ESMTP

When MBM encounters this problem it times out for 5 attempts and then dies. I then have to delete all emails from the effected domain/MX.

Any advice or suggestions?

MaxBulk Mailer doesn't perform MX lookups and never connects to MTAs, only to your SMTP server. Perhaps you have a delivery limit per hour. Have you asked the server postmaster?
